Inspiration
Cleaning up my room and discovered that there is no centralised website or web app to list and direct recyclable items to the appripriate facilities.
What it does
Lists the recycling facilities available and add them via crowdsourcing.
How I built it
Built with a layer on Google Maps.
Challenges I ran into
Initially there was an app but the web host went bankrupt and lost just everything.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
That such an app can be created.
What I learned
Create backups and archived. Always.
