Inspiration

We were inspired by the problem given by the Hackathon Team.

What it does

Our website was made to help volunteers find events that distribute food to those in need, specifically events that could use helping hands.

How we built it

We built our website on Sandbox using HTML for the front end, CSS for the front end, and javascript for the back end.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a few challenges with making a database and search bar, but after doing some research we were able to overcome these obstacles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the search bar we were able to make after trial and error, this was something we never thought we could ever do.

What we learned

We learned more about how to code in HTML, Javascript, and CSS.

What's next for FindMyVolunteer

If we were able to work on this project more, we would work to expand to allow users to interact properly with event managers, advance our search bar and database so it's more effective, and make the website information more accurate.
