This innovative Chrome extension allows users to monitor and manage their shopping carts from various online retailers in one tab.
How we built it
Leveraging the simplicity and power of HTML and Tailwind CSS for a sleek design, and JavaScript for dynamic user interactions, we crafted a user-friendly tool that enhances shopping efficiency.
Challenges we ran into
Adapting to the limitations and possibilities of browser extension development, ensuring compatibility across multiple retail websites, and creating a seamless user experience with asynchronous data fetching.
What we learned
The project deepened our understanding of web development, especially the capabilities of Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development and the intricacies of JavaScript for background processes and content scripts.
What's next for FindMyTrolley
Future plans include expanding the extension's compatibility with more e-commerce platforms, possibly developing a mobile version for on-the-go access.
