Inspiration

Every day 12,000 people in India die due to the sheer lack of donated blood. This is such a sad statement to say that we can't just have the right blood to the person injured. It is lack of accessibility of the required blood group at time of urgency. We team, HackBit proposed a Web Application solution addressing this major issue of concern.

What it does

FindMyHospital is a web Application that is designed in view to collaborate multiple hospitals, where they can share the basics details about the available capacity of blood group, number of beds, operation theatres. The person in need can directly and easily approach this website at times of urgency!

How we built it

The languages, technologies, frameworks and the other cloud services used by us are written above.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was to build the complete website in just 24 hours. Finding the bugs and the errors was also difficult and it was really a tough task to collaborate all the codes being at home:(

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we make the best use of technology to save a Person's life. This was the motivation behind the whole ideation of the project.

What we learned

We learnt how to make responsive web application that helps the people. We also learnt about the technologies used, teamwork and use of git and github as well.

What's next for FindMyHospital

We would like to take this project on a large scale so that it could be accessible to every person in need. Thanks to this Hackathon for help us start this initiative.
