Inspiration
Our team was interested in learning about back end technologies integration to the regular static front end. We chose to pursue this project that helps student filter the college of their choice because we felt that this is something that many students could use before doing their undergrad.
What it does
Help students find their ideal college based on their submitted criteria.
How we built it
The majority of the backend was built with Python while we used Flask as well as HTML, CSS and Javascript to manage the frontend.
Challenges we ran into
Since the prompt was VERY open, we had issues deciding on what we wanted to work on. In addition to that, the majority of our team lacked experience with the tech stack that we wanted to use
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were proud of having a working version of our back end, which was calling from the API of college score board.
