Inspiration

People lose things every day, and most of the time someone nearby actually finds them. We wanted to create an easy way for communities to connect lost items with the people who lost them.

What it does

Our website lets users report lost or found items by uploading a picture and description. The system stores the item in a searchable database so people in the same community can find matches.

How we built it

We built the website using AI tools to generate the interface and features. The app allows users to upload photos, add descriptions, and search through an indexed database of items.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was designing a system that could organize many items clearly. Another challenge was making the matching and search process simple for users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a working platform that allows people to easily report and search for lost items. We’re proud that our idea could help communities return lost belongings faster.

What we learned

We learned how to plan an app idea, structure a database for items, and design a user-friendly platform that solves a real-world problem.
