Inspiration: the deLICIOUS food at DLG specifically
What it does: Given user input, it recommends requested foods from dining halls, making it easier for students to eat what they want, as they know when something is offered and where.
How we built it: Flask and python
Challenges we ran into: Couldn't figure out how to incorporate nutrition facts and ingredients in time, and settled for a simpler version.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Scraping the UCSB dining hall menu, setting up a basic website
What we learned: Come more prepared with technologies we use (scraping, flask, etc)
What's next for Finding Student Dining: We plan to continue work to add nutritional filtering and better recommendations.
