  Legal Help, Made Simple with Find My Vakeel

Founded in 2021, Find My Vakeel is India's first online legal services platform that offers faster and easier access to quality and affordable legal help through the simplicity of googling or searching for an advocate – when you need it. The inspiration came from a common problem – When people face legal issues whether Family related, Property matter, Business or Criminal matters people generally ends up struggling to search for trusted lawyers in quick time.

The gap between everybody and legal support is what inspired the project. So many people either stay away from legal help because of costs or not knowing where to begin. My goal was to create a simple aggregated platform that allows for the connection between users and verified advocates directly in one place.

I built this project using modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework. The platform structure was designed to be clean and user-friendly so anyone can easily navigate and find legal help. I also focused on responsive design to ensure it works smoothly on both mobile and desktop devices.

I achieved learning from how to structure a real-world web application to build as user friendly UI/UX, service-based data structuring through developing this project. Also, I learned to deploy and manage a project with Git-based workflows.

The most difficult task was to design an experience that is not only a reliable tool, but is also easy to use. As legal platforms called for a sense of simplicity along with formal presentation, the theme was very much important to design. A different but the same challenge was collecting data across a number of different legal categories and being able to surface that to users in an understandable way.

I built FIND MY VAKEEL, in our simple words making legal access easy and connecting professional legal assistance with people through technology.
