Inspiration

We wanted to learn about API usage and develop an app using the Mastercard places API

What it does

Enter what you need from a place, and Find My Merchant will provide a response based on your preferences

How we built it

We used React and Chakra UI for the frontend, node and express to retrieve data from mastercard's API

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulty deploying our site and implementing the backend (API data retrieval) into our frontend

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a simple UI and successfully pulled data from the mastercard API

What we learned

Learned about and implemented UI Libraries, API & SDK usage, Node.js and Express

Add more categories for filtering results Implement backend functionality through Places API
