## Inspiration This was inspired by wanting to help young adults be more financially responsible by informing them of different financial literary terms.
What it does
This web app teaches users about financial goals, how to budget, manage debt, and build credit. There is also a quiz users can take to test their new found knowledge.
How we built it
We built an express-server application using JS, HTML, and CSS. The quiz questions and answers are stored in a database in MongoDB.
Challenges we ran into
Working with MongoDB was challenging, we wanted to create a database using Atlas, but instead opted for the community server because it was easier to implement.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to output a full stack web app with at least one POST request functionality.
What we learned
As we created this web app, we researched more about being financially responsible, which increased our knowledge in this area along the way. We also encountered difficulties while developing the code for the web app and had to look through different online sources to figure out how to tackle these challenges.
What's next for Financial Literacy Tool for College Students
We want to be able to offer more resources to our users in their financial literacy journey and have a server to host our website.
