Inspiration
The inspiration is our own financial troubles.
What it does
Our program takes characteristics of a persons life, and it incorporates their spending habits into tangible numbers for the user to see.
How we built it
We built it with a React/js front end, and a Java based back-end. We pushed values to the local server with APIs such as Spring boot and axiom to push values into the local server.
Challenges we ran into
Establishing the APIs for unorthodox methods, especially when no one in the group had any experience with APIs beforehand.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the API's to work with the local server, and all of the technology we learned to use are accomplishments that we are proud of.
What we learned
We learned how to work within a team and divide up the work according to the strengths of our group.
What's next for Financial Freedom
In the future, we hope to establish a more aesthetically pleasing UI and more questions to ask the user.
