Inspiration

The lack of financial education in Mexico and the huge economic and social opportunity that technology could make available to all.

What it does

Guides the user towards an investment fund that fits their needs and is comfortable for them by providing important information and making recommendations using LLM and AI

How we built it

We used the react framework for JS, the vite, and MUI library to build the front end for our web app; to develop the back end we used Node.js, mySQL database, and an open AI API for customized responses and a chatbot.

Challenges we ran into

Effective use of the API, proper division of work, UIX design, and management of git conflicts

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our AI implementation, the friendly UI we developed, and the connection we achieved between the back and front end

What we learned

We learned how to develop and integrate several technologies to solve an important social issue effectively

What's next for Financial Coach: BanCoach

Integrate other technologies to continue its journey in accessibility and financial education to all users regardless of their background.
