Inspiration
Financial literacy is often taught through lectures, charts, and formulas, but real-life money decisions are rarely logical or clean. They’re emotional, rushed, and full of uncertainty.
Inspired by Reigns, a game where simple choices lead to complex consequences: What if players learned money the same way they experience it in real life—by making decisions and living with the outcomes? Instead of telling players what they should do, Financial Choice Adventure lets them discover why choices matter through experience, risk, and trade-offs.
What it does
Financial Choice Adventure is a choice-driven financial literacy adventure game where players face everyday money scenarios such as: Casinos and gambling Credit card offers “Guaranteed” investments Medical emergencies Monthly budgeting decisions
Players manage a small set of intuitive stats (SOON): Balance (Money) Financial Knowledge (Soon) Financial Stress (Soon) Stability (Soon) Risk Tolerance (Soon)
Every decision affects multiple stats, often helping one while harming another. There are no correct answers, only consequences.
As players gain Financial Knowledge, the game reveals hidden probabilities and financial facts, mimicking how people learn finance over time.
