Inspiration

Financial aid packages are often difficult to understand. As transfer students, we face unfamiliar terminology, uncertainty about what aid we've been awarded, and confusion about how much of each aid type we'll actually receive.

What it does

A centralized hub where students can input their financial aid package, compare it against offers from other institutions, and see a clear visual breakdown of their aid Automatically generated charts and summaries that make package comparisons fast and intuitive

The challenge we created that we put too much time wanting to create an robust application. So we decicded to create a simple web application where it shows our idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We felt proud that we were able to create an application for students who faced a similar situation: wanting to better understand the most important part of the financial package.

What's next for Financial Aid Tracker

Intergate Claude API to automatically interpet and parse files of financial aid packages. Build a full-stack application with user authentication, secure database storage, and robust security measures to keep sensitive data protected
