Inspiration

We were inspired by several solutions on the market, mainly by the ease of creating new systems and tools by connecting different APIs to obtain truly useful data.

What it does

We created a solution for users who don't have much time, memory, or who prefer a more human interaction. Our chatbot offers very useful insights and can determine your financial status based on your data history.

How we built it

We used the Next.js framework, with Angular for the frontend and Next.js for the backend. We chose Neon (with PostgreSQL) as our database, as it seemed the most suitable for this case.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulties getting the Gemini API to communicate with and retrieve data from a database. At first, it seemed almost impossible, but we managed to solve it and are very proud of that.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of completing the prototype, making our page fully responsive, and replicating the Capital One API when it stopped working, which consumed more time but was effective.

What we learned

We learned that time is a valuable and limited resource, that we can build camaraderie in the most stressful moments, and that we can always support each other within the community.
