Young people aren’t starting a pension early enough
~50% of 22-29 year olds are not saving enough for retirement above the poverty line
23% of 18-24% year olds do not know how much they currently contribute to their pension
70% of young people find their pensions difficult to understand
The earlier, the better – putting money away LATER means your money has less time to grow.
AIM: Encourage young workers to engage with their pensions

What it does

A flexible, accessible mobile app which simplifies the process of managing your pension combined with elements of gamification to increase motivation and resources to improve commercial awareness

Challenges we ran into

Choosing an idea when we had so many!
Trying to make our idea unique and executable in a short space of time
Insufficient coding knowledge

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learnt to code by bombarding ourselves with lots of YouTube videos and articles online
Working with an amazing group of women, each with their own expertise
Using our creativity to materialise such a profound and increasingly important concept
