A modern cross-platform personal budget planner built with Python, Tkinter, and ttkbootstrap. Supports multi-language UI, CSV export, and visual budget summaries.

We were inspired by the struggle as an international student to arriving Canada when having trouble scheduling our budgets.

We learned some UI design and software design for this project.

We built the project by separating the project to UI and core parts and combine them, that is, separately develop the TK based Python frontend and the analyse the data at the backend. Our initial thought was to apply Gemini for analysis, but switched to local processing considering necessity.

The challenge includes coding with a new module for us, coordinating for final combinations.
