Inspiration

My inspiration for building this app was seeing how Jetpack Compose makes building UIs on Android so much more simple and customizable. I wanted to be able to create amazing UIs too!

What it does

This app has no functionality. It is just a recreation of a UI from dribbble

How I built it

I built this app with Android Studio, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose

Challenges I ran into

I ran into many challenges, but the biggest one was recreating the MasterCard logo. That took several hours for me to figure out, but I did finish it in the end. I also had trouble with making the Mastercard logo and company name sit at the bottom-right of the Bank Card, but I was able to solve this by using a different approach.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I was able to recreate the UI almost perfectly! I was not expecting to be able to do that at all because a few days ago, I didn't know anything about Jetpack Compose.

What I learned

I learned how to use many different layouts in Jetpack Compose. I'm very glad I decided to make this project.
