Inspiration

The Stripe Api was a huge inspiration, being able to access and join multiple bank accounts across currencies is a game changer! With the cost of living in Dublin only ever seemingly getting more expensive and young people in the EU and US relying more on reoccuring payments (all be it subscriptions or klarna esc by backs) its clear a simple to use financial tool is needed for people to visualise their spending

We thought what could we bring to the table for Irish people

What it does

The web app does multiple things but to keep it short:

it centralises all users banks
- Cancels subscriptions
- Makes judgements based on preferences which subscriptions would be more impactful then others
- has a built in conversational AI Finacnace manager, trained with context on all the recent grants available for, students , housing, farmers, etc in Ireland.
- Finds Reoccuring payments to understand habit spending ## How we built it The backend was built on mysql and hosted on Supabase the front end was built on nodejs the Api and all getters and setters were built in python and how we built? A bit of loving <3 ## Challenges we ran into Connecting front end to Supa Base was a major time sink in this 30 problem. there was deep dependency issues with the API we decided to use for supabase, causing setbacks.
