Finance For Students

Inspiration

My for this project was my recent experience starting a checking account and managing my finances for myself. I wanted a more user-friendly account for first time account owners and those new to finance.

What it does

My web app takes data from the Capital One API and visualizes it to be easily readable by students and overall less overwhelming. It uses a minimalist design that allows for easily finding and recognizing data.

How I built it

I built the web app through Python and using the Capital One API for information. I also planned to use Flask as my web framework to build a full website to present the data.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into issues setting up and integrating the Flask to build a full-stack website. If I were to redo the project, I would do the project in React.js to easily turn the project to a fully integrated website.
