Inspiration and problems addressed

My own experience, coming from a place with no financial literacy, wanted me to do something about it. It's what inspired me to pitch an app that aims to equip students with resources to manage their finances responsibly. Hence, Finance First- an app that enables students to learn about and manage their finances.

The app aims to cover and help students with: -Finance Education -Budget and Expense Tracking -Financial Aid Help -Saving and Investing Guides -Community Support -Credit and Crisis

What we learned

I learnt a lot about financial models an app could use and was also surprised the number of students who were interested in investing but couldn't due to not knowing how to or wanted a scholarship but didn't know how to get one.

What's next for Finance First

Developing the app and actually implementing it.
