💡 Inspiration

When we first stepped into the world of investing, we were full of energy—but quickly hit a wall.

Every tool we tried felt like it was made for Wall Street Pros, not for people like us who were just starting out.

We juggled between 5 different apps—one for news, another for market data, another for simulations, and yet another for AI insights. But none of them talked to each other. None of them actually taught us how to make smart decisions.

And like most beginners, we made mistakes. Expensive ones.

We later discovered we weren’t alone: 80% of new investors lose money in their first year.

That’s when we realized:

Meanwhile, fintechs, brokers, and even banks are all struggling to keep new users engaged—because the current platforms weren’t built for learning, they were built for execution.

So we decided to build the platform we wished WE HAD.

  • Live News Mapping on an interactive Mapbox Globe.
  • A powerful Stock Screener powered by the Tavily API.
  • A tool for Market Analysis via Tavily of the stock selected—summaries generated by the Groq API.
  • Connected a Telegram Bot to manage portfolios, set alerts, and chat with the Tavily Deep Researcher.
  • Compare Stocks Dashboard powered by Tavily, to compare two stock performances side by side.
  • Personalized Tavily-AI chatbot linked directly to the trading interface—with Groq API summarization.
  • Also a CopilotKit-powered Chatbot on the homepage—Groq API included!

🛠️ How We Built It

Development Journey:

  • Integrated Mapbox for globe-based market data visualization.
  • Integrated Tavily API for the news-driven Mapboard Section (with Groq API for summarizing news).
  • Connected Alpaca Paper Trading for simulating trades with real-time data.
  • Built a Stock Screener powered by Tavily’s insights.
  • Developed a Market Analyst Module to break down data via Tavily.
  • Created a Telegram bot for portfolio access, alerts, and AI chatbot integration.
  • Embedded the CopilotKit enabled chatbot into the trading interface for personalized answers (using Groq API).
  • Built a Compare Stocks feature—comparing stocks based on real-time news & charts via Tavily API.
  • Continuously improved UI/UX during development.
  • Designed a Monetization Model and mapped out future potential.

🧱 Challenges We Ran Into

🧠 Took 10 days for clear ideation to fully understand Tavily API capabilities.

🌍 Mapbox globe insights weren’t rendering properly.

📉 Technical parameters via Tavily API were difficult to fetch.

🆚 The Compare Stocks dashboard threw multiple errors.

🤖 Telegram bot integration with paper trading & Tavily Deep Researcher was tricky.

🎨 Several UI bugs needed constant attention.

🚧 Deployment and pushing code was sometimes blocked or failing.

  3. Earnings Calendar & Forecast Insights Track key earnings, forecasts, and generate pre/post analysis from real-time news and analysts via Groq API.

  4. Local Investment Radar Surface local growth signals and microeconomic activities before institutions catch on.
