What inspired us: We were inspired by everyday financial problems like missed bill payments, overspending due to poor budget tracking, and the lack of simple automation in existing finance apps. We wanted to build a smart system that feels human, proactive, and effortless to use.
What we learned: We learned how to combine AI-driven natural language understanding with real-world automation, how secure payment workflows are designed, and how alerts, reports, and visual insights can significantly improve financial decision-making.
How we built the project: We built an AI-powered financial assistant that understands natural language commands using NLP and LLMs, automates payment workflows through browser automation, integrates with a secure Dummy Bank Server for simulated transactions, tracks real-time gold prices, and generates visual spending reports with alerts and reminders.
Challenges we faced: Major challenges included accurately interpreting diverse user commands, keeping the app and Dummy Bank Server perfectly synchronized, handling failed transactions transparently, and designing the system to be secure, scalable, and easy to use without overwhelming users.
