Inspiration

We are fucked...

All past geo-political or activist-group approaches have shown repeatedly that they do not have the impact to change the course of the earth-state meaningfully enough. If we (as all species) want to live on this planet peacefully, we need to provide greater effort.

This is not an easy task however:

the problems are so inter-connected on a multitude of levels, impossible for anyone to grasp. yet we rely on 1000 politicians to solve this IN TIME
there is not a goal or direction where humanity agrees on and where we collectively work towards
the current capitalist system does not incentivize movement in unison

How to we approach this then?

break down huge problems recursively into smaller ones
face millions of problems with millions of minds
everyone is an expert somewhere, solve problems related to you
the platform tries to tackle each problem recursively by breaking each top-problem into a
goal
milestones

How we built it

The platform consists of 3 layers:

proof-of-data blockchain (filespace-chain)
file-storage and serving (filespace-backend)
content explorer & collaboration platform (filespace-frontend)

What's next for filespace

The Proof-of-Concept needs to be tested and further itererated on. The ultimate vision is a positive-feedback loop where the platform builds itself. The incentive models need to be implemented and tested / validated.
