Inspiration
I was inspired by the russian roulette python meme. It picks a random integer 1-6 and if it lands on a specific integer, the System32 directory is deleted. Once I found out about the Mad Scientist track I knew what I wanted to do because I've been wanting to make something similar for quite a while.
What it does
It's a game, It has 6 buttons, if a user clicks one of the buttons and the program decides the user is unsafe, a random file in the "Main directory" the user chose is deleted, unless the user is in "Safe Mode"
How we built it
I used Tkinter for the UI and Pygame to add sound effects
Challenges/Learning
Before this hackathon, I HATED UI design, however, after I decided to work alone, I knew I would have to do UI design. After today I now find UI design less scary than it could be, even if I still don't like it that much.
What's next for File Gamble
I plan on making upgrades to this, I want to eventually make it so that there's a game mode that allows python to delete system files.
