1. Prototype link (Please submit a link to a playable prototype, not a link to your design file) Link

  2. Describe your project (max 150 words) Our project is a time management and mental health app that takes data from your school to automatically insert dates and times of resources within the school as well as class data. We did not have time to implement a quick login system so the app knows where to get the data from. The app also provides more resources depending on how you use it, for example, if you go to a certain club a lot, you will get many resources relating to that club. Then the app checks in at night, but the time is not hard coded as the user gets to fill in the time, which we also did not have time to implement.

  3. Describe your research process and findings. If you conducted any surveys or interviews, please include the survey form and/or interview questions here. If you conducted secondary research by pulling from online sources, please include a link to your sources. (Max 500 words) So we made a Google form to make a persona considering the short period after we decided on niches based on the prompt given. These niches included finances, networking, class info, career planning, time management, mental health, and food on campus.

  1. Describe your most important design decisions. What research findings and/or user testing results led you to make these decisions? (Max 500 words) The most important decision here is figuring out a palette that seems inclusive, so we tested out vision deficiencies through a plugin in Figma called color blind. We then had to come up with a minimal color palette and design since scrolling can be engaging but distracting in my opinion, so I tried my best to fit everything in one screen using auto layout in Figma. Coming up with a logo was an also important decision as we had to stay consistent with the app brand identity considering the app's minimal design, where its point is to reduce anxiety and distraction.
