Inspiration
Staying up in the morning is hard when first waking up and we want to make an engaging way to stay up when your alarm goes off!!
What it does
“Fighting My Demons” is an alarm app that requires the player to complete a card matching game to defeat a demon and shut off the alarm.
How we built it
We utilized Python and Pygame Libraries for the actual game, and for the assets we used Figma and generative AI
Challenges we ran into
Coding the game and collaborating correctly was hard in the beginning but we figured it out fairly quickly
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a game was first for many of us. We are proud that we made a useful product that is also fun.
What we learned
We learned how to use the tools listed above and how to collaborate with a team at different stages of product development.
What's next for Fighting My Demons
Mobile app, more game mode options, music, and animations. Accessibility: vibrations, colour scheme options
