Fighting disinformation through metrics and data
There is enough data and metrics on disinformation, but this data is in hands of big tech companies, like Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc.
We strongly believe that because we have not had enough studies that measure scale and impact of the disinformation phenomena, those companies are not willing/agreeing to cooperate with government, academia and CSOs on the disinformation issues.
Our project is aimed at producing research data that will help to understand the scale and impact of disinformation. We believe that results of our project will give a boost to discussing the ways the disinformation data could be collected/shared with relevant stakeholders
