"Fight the Flu" by DocSpot

"Fight the Flu" is DocSpot’s friendly, funny, and easy-to-use online service to engage the public in increased flu awareness. We hope to motivate people, especially healthy young adults who might not otherwise think of it, to join in the fight against the flu by getting a yearly flu shot and encouraging their friends to do the same. Based on these goals, Fight the Flu begins with a hilarious multiple choice quiz to help people gauge their knowledge of the impact of the flu and how to fight against it. From there, users can choose to view and interact with maps showing the spread of the flu across the US throughout flu season, as well as the spread of vaccination; they can peruse CDC articles related to the flu across different health topics; and they can use our own original flu clinic finder to find a place to get a flu shot in their neighborhood. If people want to tell their friends about how they enjoyed our quiz or decided to get a flu shot based on what they learned at our site, we provide an easy way for users to post their thoughts on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. When you have all of these resources in one convenient location, how could you not join in the fight?
