Inspiration Many women are dying in the society due to lack of awareness and lack of relevant knowledge in the field of Breast Cancer. Hence we want to use technology for spreading awareness.
What it does: Our initiative is to create a website which can help more people in terms of awareness, locating hospitals, self examination and provide a platform to ask queries and join the community. User can also search relevant medical terms
How we built it: We built the website through CSS ,Bootstrap ,JavaScript and HTML for the front end, Python for back end and Django for the integration part.
Challenges we ran into: Learning of new technologies and integration using Django
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We have achieved everything which was a part of the design phase and we are proud of the skills that we got to learn from the Hackathon event.
What we learned: Technology skills, managing work life balance, meditation and team work
What's next for Fight Like a Girl: We can add more functionalities by the use of some datasets for checking the chances of a user getting breast cancer and provide a helping hand to them.
