To help in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak in Sierra Leone
What it does
This software is Web-Based, it seeks to provide an intuitive environment for authorities and the general public to help curb the alarming rate of infection through information sharing and collection of relevant data which will guide decision makers to make informed decision to stem the spread of the disease. This Application will allow the public to access Covid-19 sensitization videos, give you links to relevant websites that have the authority to give official update about the illness in Sierra Leone and across the world, view map of districts that are affected with Covid-19 in Sierra Leone.
The system provides an Online Form and Offline data collection platform for persons to report suspected case online and offline which is complimentary to the Emergency Toll-Free number 177. The Web App at the backend through an authentication password will access the data submitted online and offline that can be viewed in an analytical form. In conjunction with the mobile companies, the platform can send message related to Covid-19 Disease prevention the public via their subscriber’s mobile numbers. It also provides a form for persons to make donations.
How I built it
coding and embedding existing technologies to provide an intuitive website that meet required functionalities to do it own in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak Sierra Leone.
Challenges I ran into
Costly internet connectivity in my country, Sierra Leone. No sponsor, done by the team alone, debugging multiple times.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I learned a lot and trying to contribute in fighting societal problem in Sierra Leone.

What's next for Fight Covid-19 Web App
Needs support to get conventional domain, create contact and make the product public and usable in my country and partner with mobile operators in country to send message to the public to create awareness and sensitization in a country that is improvised and in denial if the disease exist in Sierra Leone even in the midst of we recording alarming number of infection everyday,
