App which will send notification to paramedics near accident. Informations about accident will be added to the system by emergency call operator.

Inspiration

Time is important in everyday life. Especially when (human lives are at stake) it comes to human lives.

What it does

Our goal is to ensure that people who need medical help get help as soon as possible. That is why we have developed our application. Our application is aimed at all healthcare professionals. When someone calls the emergency number, the operator evaluates the situation and, if necessary, enters the incident into our system. Subsequently, all users of our application who are near the incident will be notified with the location and description of the incident.

How we built it

We built both web interface and mobile application with React Native. Client app is getting data from redis database which provides fast response.

Challenges we ran into

Managing time as team is harder than we thought but we managed to do so. Also newer versions of Android brought new challenges when accessing location data while app is not running in the background.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to finish this project in time.

What we learned

Better managing of teamwork. Better React Native app development.
