Inspiration

We already built a simple and powerful inventory management platform available on Android, iOS, and the web. As our customers grew, we noticed a recurring challenge: while businesses could manage their inventory efficiently, they struggled to track and manage their field sales teams effectively.

Sales managers wanted better visibility into where their teams were, which customers they were visiting, what orders were being placed, and whether daily sales activities were actually happening as planned.

That real-world customer feedback became the inspiration for FieldSales365 — a field sales automation and field force management platform built on top of our experience in solving day-to-day business operations.

What it does

FieldSales365 helps businesses manage their entire field sales operation from a single, powerful platform.

It provides sales managers with real-time visibility into their field teams while giving sales representatives the tools they need to manage their daily work efficiently.

The platform brings together:

Real-time GPS employee tracking

Instant order punching from the field

Distributor and customer management

Smart beat planning and route management

Daily sales activity tracking

Field visit management

Sales team monitoring and reporting

And much more

FieldSales365 is designed for businesses with on-ground sales teams across industries such as FMCG, Pharma, Paints, Lubricants, Dairy, Garments, and B2B Distribution.

Our goal is simple: give managers visibility and give field teams a simpler way to get their work done.

How we built it

We took a mobile-first approach because field sales teams spend most of their working day away from a desk.

The FieldSales365 mobile apps are available on Android and iOS, allowing sales representatives to manage their daily activities directly from the field. At the same time, administrators and sales managers get access to a powerful web dashboard for monitoring teams, managing operations, and analyzing business activity.

The product is designed around real-world field conditions, where speed, simplicity, connectivity, and ease of use are critical.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was the sheer breadth of the product.

Field sales operations involve hundreds of interconnected activities, workflows, users, customers, distributors, orders, visits, routes, and business rules. Building all of these capabilities while keeping the product simple and intuitive was a significant challenge.

We had to constantly balance feature depth with usability — making sure the platform could handle complex business operations without becoming complicated for the people using it every day.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of the things we're most proud of is creating a product that remains simple and user-friendly despite the complexity behind it.

FieldSales365 is designed so that users with different levels of technical experience can start using it without a steep learning curve.

We have also focused on making the platform accessible to businesses across different markets by supporting multiple widely used languages, helping teams adopt the product more comfortably in their own environments.

What we learned

Building business software taught us that data accuracy and operational reliability are just as important as features.

When software is used to run day-to-day business operations, even small inaccuracies can affect decisions, sales, customers, and ultimately revenue.

That experience has shaped how we build FieldSales365. We focus not only on adding features, but also on making sure the data businesses depend on is accurate, consistent, and useful for making better operational decisions.

What's next for FieldSales365

Our approach to building FieldSales365 is strongly customer-driven and organic.

Our existing inventory platform, SimplyStock, has followed this philosophy from the beginning. We built only a small portion of its features based on our initial assumptions, while the majority of the product has evolved directly from requirements and feedback from real users.

That approach has helped us build a product that solves practical problems and keeps businesses using it over the long term.

We plan to follow the same philosophy with FieldSales365.

Rather than building features simply because they sound interesting, we want to listen closely to businesses that are actively using the platform, understand the problems they encounter in their daily field operations, and continuously improve the product around those needs.

Our long-term vision is to make FieldSales365 a reliable operating system for field sales teams — one that businesses can depend on not just for tracking their sales force, but for managing and improving their entire field sales operation.

As we continue learning from our users, we believe the product can grow organically alongside the businesses that use it.
