Inspiration

Being college students, we understand the importance of financial knowledge. We become financially independent and start exploring the worlds of investing & budgeting. However, even though financial knowledge is such an important skill to have, none of us actually learn it in college. Our website aims to change this.

What it does

We, at Fickle, are focused on helping you manage your financial independence while you are busy with your academic life. We understand the difficulties you face with your newfound financial independence and are all here for you.

How we built it

We explored a lot of different tools while building this website. We used Miro to plan, Canva to design and started with Figma to make the prototype. Eventually, we switched to Wix to build our website.

Challenges we ran into

Being total beginners, we decided to use No-Code platforms to build our website. We also struggled with whether to build an app or a website. We started with Figma, but we couldn't progress much with it, as we lacked both the technical skills and the time. So, we moved to Wix, which was much easier for us to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Team work, ideation, not giving up

What we learned

We learnt a lot through this whole process, which is our biggest accomplishment. We learnt about designing, front-end development and the whole process of building a website.

What's next for Fickle by Sabre

In the future, we're hoping to expand Fickle to include tutorials, developing an app, seed fund to develop underlying technology, i.e. machine learning and financial algorithms. Also, foster a community of people and hire financial advisors.
