Inspiration

Make a great text editor for all FIB to use efficiently.

What it does

It's a tool to edit any text and source code.

How we built it

We used the Qt libraries and C++.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't have much experience with the Qt environment.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of having been able to create a functional text editor from scratch.

What we learned

A lot about the Qt framework and how we can use it.

What's next for FIBedit

We were planning on adding color scheme customization, syntax highlighting, parenthesis completion. The most epic feature would be for it to be able to communicate with El Racó's API to integrate with its various services and add a lot of functionality.

We're convinced that, in the future, everyone at FIB will use FIBedit to manage their projects and source code.
