Inspiration
We wanted to try something related to web, and the challenge proposed by FIB-UPC seemed to fit perfectly with that.
What it does
It's a webpage to ilustrate what is going on at the faculty. The target audience are high school students, so we focused on explaining the things in a more appealing, less strict way that the main FIB webpage.
How we built it
With django and Bulma template for CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We had little/no idea about web development, so we've learned almost everything during the hack.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing it :)
What we learned
To use django, use themes based in sass and scss. Also, if you want something to look pretty, you must sweat blood.
What's next for FIB-remastered
Include all the pending information from the FIB (e.g., all the other degrees, more subjects...). Also, better pictures taken with this website as a target.
