Inspiration

The staggering growth in popularity of NFTs and just as astonishing complications required to buy one.

What it does

It allows users to buy NFTs using Credit Card.

How we built it

We used an NFT smart contract and a marketplace smart contract to mint and transfer NFTs.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Credit Card Payments, Creating a general mint function, Connecting with Metamask, Unable to figure out how to not make the user pay gas fees.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A grid displaying all NFTs, Stripe Integration for Fiat Payments, Better UI/UX.

What we learned

How to connect Metamask wallets, How to handle bank payments, How to handle transfer of NFTs and pay the seller in crypto.

What's next for Fiat-NFT

Building an app, Eliminating Gas Fees from the user's side, Introducing reputation and rarity systems, raise funding to launch.

I am submitting my project under the Natives Track.

During this Hackathon I deployed my contracts onto the Aurora testnet and created a better minting function. I also updated the smart contract structure to take less gas.
