Inspiration
Healthcare claims processing is still heavily manual in many hospitals and insurance workflows. Discharge summaries, investigation reports, and treatment documents are often uploaded as PDFs, but converting those clinical documents into structured, claim-ready FHIR resources remains a major operational bottleneck.
Our inspiration came from a simple question:
Can we build an AI-powered interoperability layer that automatically transforms raw clinical discharge summaries into claim-ready FHIR bundles using MCP and real-time clinical reasoning?
We wanted to combine:
FHIR interoperability MCP (Model Context Protocol) Clinical document intelligence OCR + structured extraction Claim readiness validation AI-assisted healthcare workflows
The result is an end-to-end system that allows an AI agent to securely access patient context, retrieve clinical documents, extract medical evidence, generate FHIR bundles, validate claim readiness, and identify missing claim information automatically.
What the Project Does
The project acts as an AI-powered FHIR Claim Readiness Engine.
