Inspiration

Our love for travel and the desire to make meaningful connections inspired FestPerk. We would had loved to have this app more than once.

What it does

FestPerk provides daily city exploration plans, connecting like-minded travelers for unforgettable experiences.

How we built it

We built it in just two days using Vue3 as framework for the frontend and Django for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of problems connecting the front and the back due to the CORS policy and also deploying the app on the internet.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In a short period of time we were capable of building a functional app we could perfectly use while traveling.

What we learned

We learned the importance of user feedback and iteration in refining our product. Additionally, overcoming technical hurdles taught us valuable problem-solving skills.

What's next for FestPerk

In the future, we aim to expand FestPerk to more cities globally, enhance personalization features, and integrate user-generated content for a richer experience. Stay tuned for even more exciting updates!
