~ We want to built this app or this idea because we were freshman's once and we experienced those times where we were alone. ~ Make friends, because everyone likes to have new people in their life ~ Talk to people from your school, but you're anonymous ~ No one likes to see people alone by themself, which intertwines with self esteem ~Make your self esteem higher.
Description ~When you make an account it will be anonymous, but be an option if you want to reveal it at the end ~You can make a private chat ~There will be a shuffle button so you can talk to someone randomly, because having everything in common isn’t always good ~There will also be an option to fill out common interests, just in case you’re not into the shuffle button ~There will be a box to put a starter word in, such as “Hey” to start the conversation & you will, in a way, get matched up with someone random ~Random tip box for when you feel bored &/or stuck in a conversation ~At the end of the conversation, when you close the conversation, there will be 2 prompts with an option to press “yes or no” for…
- If you want to meet the person in real life or not -Do you want to reveal your kik code &/or account name &/or picture ~ There will also be a prompt box that asks where you want to meet up
Problem - Usually when Freshmen go into school for the first time, some kids don’t have friends and we believe that’s a problem. No one wants to see a group of kids awkwardly staring at the wall not talking to anyone. It also affects their self-esteem and makes them afraid of meeting people.
Solution - This app, Fember, can solve that problem. The app will help you connect with peers in the school. You and the random peer will be able to talk with one another anonymously and get to know each other. This app can get someone more friends during the beginning of the school or if they came to a new school.
They can talk about common interest and learn more about each other while talking. If the conversation goes well they’ll be prompted if they wanted to meet up in school and if each side answers yes it will reveal their real name and then they can meet at school the next day. If the convo didn’t go well they can just say no and forget about that person.
