Femail

Inspiration

We were inspried by women in the workplace who needed a space to work and collaborate with each other.

What it does

Femail is a social networking platform for women and gender non-conforming people where they can connect with each other and create mentor/mentee relationsips

How we built it

The platform was built with visual studio and visual basic.

Challenges we ran into

A few of our team members had little to no coding experience and none of us have ever built a website before. There was a large learning curve in developing our platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integrating a user database was a massive accomplishment for out team.

What we learned

We learned how to work together and use different skills to create a diverse product with different strengths.

What's next for Femail

We aim to integrate more complex user profiles and data, as well as more functionality to the system.
