Inspiration
We want to help Gen Z manage their money better by visually showing people how much money they've spent on avocado toast and coffee and what would happen if they saved that money in a savings account which accumulates compound interest or put it in an index fund. The project was supposed to use AR for people to visualize how much they've spent on a certain category-- say coffee. If I bought a coffee from Starbucks everyday and it costs around $3 a cup then the app would show me how big the coffee cup would be for the month and how many stacks of cash I put down for those coffee's in AR.
What it does
Retrieves user purchases, date, userId, total spent. We wanted to create a visualizer for how much money someone spent in a month and see what would happen if we took that money they spent on lets say coffee that month and allocated it towards a savings account to see what the compound interest would look like after a set time like a month or a year or 10 years.

Challenges we ran into
Azure servers would not let us login through sftp. Ran into time constrains so we couldn't finish the front-end or get the back-end onto the server.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We finished the back-end server portion which takes in the NCR Digital-Banking API and spits out our own API which lets would have forwarded to the front-end to reveal the User, what they bought, how much they spent, when they purchased the items, and where they purchased the items. There are also functions that spit out the accountId, transactionDate, amount, institutionID, and isCredit by themselves.
What we learned
We learned that it is best to setup and research the technologies we would be using beforehand to limit time constraints and stress
What's next for Fellini
Even though we can't finish it in the allotted time frame we will continue to develop the app, hopefully having a working server and finishing up the front-end
