📌 About the Project – Feelio
🌱 Inspiration
Mental health is often overlooked in our fast-paced lives. I wanted to create something simple and accessible that encourages users to check in with their emotions daily—without pressure, ads, or distractions. Feelio was born out of the idea that even a quick moment of self-reflection can make a difference.
🧠 What I Learned
This project helped me dive deeper into:
- UI/UX simplicity — making every interaction intuitive and lightweight.
- Multi-language support — including right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Theme responsiveness — syncing with system theme while offering manual control.
🛠 How I Built It
- Developed using Bolt.new and built with Expo under the hood.
- Used local storage to keep all data private and offline.
- Designed the interface around five core emojis to avoid cognitive overload.
- Added multi-language support for English, Arabic, and Türkçe.
- Included a settings page to manage language and theme preferences.
🚧 Challenges I Faced
- Implementing proper RTL support for Arabic required careful layout testing.
- Keeping the app simple yet useful was a balancing act—avoiding feature creep.
- Ensuring the app felt personal without asking users to register or sign in.
