📌 About the Project – Feelio

🌱 Inspiration

Mental health is often overlooked in our fast-paced lives. I wanted to create something simple and accessible that encourages users to check in with their emotions daily—without pressure, ads, or distractions. Feelio was born out of the idea that even a quick moment of self-reflection can make a difference.

🧠 What I Learned

This project helped me dive deeper into:

  • UI/UX simplicity — making every interaction intuitive and lightweight.
  • Multi-language support — including right-to-left layout for Arabic.
  • Theme responsiveness — syncing with system theme while offering manual control.

🛠 How I Built It

  • Developed using Bolt.new and built with Expo under the hood.
  • Used local storage to keep all data private and offline.
  • Designed the interface around five core emojis to avoid cognitive overload.
  • Added multi-language support for English, Arabic, and Türkçe.
  • Included a settings page to manage language and theme preferences.

🚧 Challenges I Faced

  • Implementing proper RTL support for Arabic required careful layout testing.
  • Keeping the app simple yet useful was a balancing act—avoiding feature creep.
  • Ensuring the app felt personal without asking users to register or sign in.
