Inspiration

In the United States, 40 percent of edible food is wasted. Food wastage is a leading cause of climate change. We want to change that!

What it does

FeedMe is a centralized platform where restaurants can give away leftover food or meals to homeless shelters. Also, it creates an incentive where restaurants can receive tax deductions.

How we built it

We built our product using ReactJS, Material-UI, JavaScript and Azure Maps for route planning.

Challenges we ran into

Learning new technologies was challenging but rewarding.
