Inspiration

As a child who grew up in a lower-income bracket, I did not have as many opportunities to eat healthy as a child should, and it caused many physiological changes. Now that I am older, I have a chance to improve the lives of others, especially the children, who are struggling with this issue as well.

By collaborating with ideas that tie together public health, economics, psychology, and law using websitebuilder

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult learning how to put together all the different factors at play.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We came up with some solutions that could bring an end to food deserts

What we learned

We learned that there is no simple fix to ending food deserts, but with the right steps, their impact can be lessened and eventually stopped.

What's next for feedingcities.net

Our main focus right now is Atlanta, but as work in Atlanta starts, we would like to move on to other cities
