Inspiration
We were deeply impacted and inspired by the recent events in California, and around the world where natural disasters, poor infrastructure management, amongst other socio-political issues have profoundly affected human, animal lives while altering ecology and fundamentally altering the balance of natural order for decades to come. We saw an opportunity to improve and advance the quality of life for humans while preserving the sanctity of the natural balance through employing AI, fleet management and some elbow grease to make a small impact where we found necessary. We were moved to create a service which is platform, scale, and cause agnostic which empowers those who need it to make a difference small or large.
What it does
We developed a web application where users can train an ai model specific to their needs without the fear of the breach of privacy. Our service allows user to train models for their use case in a federated fashion where the models can later be
How we built it
We used Mobilenet , react.js, and next.js.
Challenges we ran into
We initially decided to try and use Angular to make a web application, however this was more difficult than anticipated.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were successfully able to deploy an AI model that can detect fires, and faulty components
What we learned
We learned React.js and Next.js
What's next for FedNET.ai
We want to refine our service, ironing out any remaining tweaks, to see if we can develop it into a viable solution for companies.
