Inspiration

Whether you are a music band lover, geeky programmer, or sports enthusiast, at some point you must have come to the point when you want to attend the event and need to plan all your traveling by yourself. We want to make your life easier. Platform Tripseek allows you to search for events and picks the best travel option for you. Just enjoy the event!

What it does

It presents our customers with an ability to look up events based on topics that they would like to attend, as well as presenting them with an easy way to book their flight tickets for global events.

How we built it

We used Seatgeek API and Kiwi.com API to retrieve the data needed for our integration. Our Data App was built using .NET Core in C#, responsible for caching data from the Internet in order for our users to not have to wait whenever they send a query to our website. The Internal API was implemented using Next.js, React, TypeScript. Frontend Web app uses HTML, CSS custom + bootstrap to handle all the user interactions, as well as interact with the Kiwi.com API.

Challenges we ran into

One of our team members was not able to attend in person (because of covid) so we needed proper management to cooperate both online and present.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Due to our team consisting of people with various skills that don't quite match up, three of our team members worked with technologies they have never worked with before and all things considered, we are very proud with what we have achieved.

What we learned

We all mostly improved our JS, TS, Next.js and React abilities. Additionally, we have also for the first time tried coding something almost fully done within 24 hours.
