In fast-paced manufacturing sectors like footwear and furniture, quality control is often bottlenecked by a massive disconnect: floor inspectors log defects on paper or isolated spreadsheets, while Continuous Improvement (CI) engineers spend days trying to diagnose root causes. We built FCS-Pro Smart Hub to bridge this gap instantly—turning raw, shop-floor defect data into actionable, Kaizen-aligned engineering solutions on the spot using Agentic AI.
⚙️ What it does
FCS-Pro Smart Hub is an AI-driven, multi-tenant QMS & MES platform built for commercial scalability, allowing factories to dynamically monitor, track, and optimize their entire business and manufacturing lifecycles.
- Dynamic Multi-Industry Dashboard: Groups and filters defect distributions and quality metrics strictly by industry (e.g., Footwear vs. Furniture) for individual factory customization.
- Commercial Pre-Sale Hub (PDM/Tech Pack): Acts as a centralized data hub tracking product specs, approved golden samples with digital signatures, real-time lab testing logs, and Bill of Materials (BOM) readiness.
- Smart CAPA Engine (Pilot & Mass Production): When milestones face delays, clicking the status triggers an immediate 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) root-cause analysis and deploys automated, standard corrective action plans (e.g., re-training protocols, tool maintenance, or supplier escalation).
- Tripartite Quality Accountability: QC Logs go beyond simple reporting—linking directly to visual shop-floor evidence while enforcing shared accountability with clear sign-offs and deadlines between Production, Engineering, and Quality (QA) heads.
- AI CI-Agent (The Crown Jewel): A native conversational agent that reasons across order deadlines, production volumes, and historical logs to output precise, prioritized Six Sigma troubleshooting strategies.
🛠️ Orchestrating a Complex Manufacturing Lifecycle
We didn't just build a logging tool; we used MeDo to engineer a closed-loop Manufacturing Execution System (MES) from scratch without code.
- Context-Aware Database: MeDo successfully partitioned our entire relational database to handle sector-specific metrics. It generated distinct workflows—Footwear (Cutting, Bootie Gasket check, Sole Bonding) vs. Furniture (White-wood, Finishing, Packaging)—all while keeping product categories perfectly isolated.
- Dynamic Workflow Automation: We engineered a seamless data flow that models the product PLM:

🚀 Commercial Scalability: Built as a Multi-Tenant SaaS
FCS-Pro Smart Hub is designed for ultimate market adaptability. Through the Factory Configuration Platform, any manufacturing enterprise can sign up and fully customize the system to their personal needs:
- Dynamically add, edit, and scale custom production lines.
- Design and re-order multi-step workflows beyond footwear and furniture (e.g., apparel, electronics).
- Train an isolated, secure instance of the AI Consultant dedicated solely to that factory's unique operational datasets.
🚧 Challenges we faced
The biggest challenge was translating highly complex, specialized industrial quality standards (like multi-stage footwear waterproofing tolerances and 4M corrective actions) into an intuitive, AI-generated relational database. MeDo handled this remarkably well, but it required us to break down our prompts into precise logical blocks to achieve the exact data relations and cross-module linkages we needed.
🎉 Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully deployed a production-ready, highly niche industrial application from scratch in less than a week. Seeing the AI agent effortlessly interpret a raw defect spike, link it to material shortages, and immediately spit out accurate, standard-compliant troubleshooting steps felt like magic.

We discovered the true potential of "Agentic AI." By shifting from traditional "search-and-retrieve" RAG systems to an active conversational agent that reasons over historical database records, we realized that full-stack development is no longer about writing code—it’s about orchestrating intelligence.

We plan to commercialize FCS-Pro Smart Hub as a scalable SaaS platform. Next on our technical roadmap is integrating external IoT API plugins into the MeDo backend, allowing the hub to pull data directly from physical Edge-AI hardware sensors and automatic testing jigs right on the assembly lines.
