Inspiration
I find other flashcard applications are not super helpful in finding exactly were your weak spots are, so I wanted my application to be like an analysis on your information in a given field of study.
What it does
Flashcard Sorting Structure: Classes contain Sets which contain Flashcards
FlashCards:
- Front
- Back
Quizzes:
- Multiple Choice
- Writing
Statistics:
- Fastest Time on Quiz
Average Time on Quiz
Highest Accuracy on Quiz
Average Accuracy on Quiz
Words Ordered by # of Incorrect Guesses
Words Ordered by Time Taken to Anwser
Allows Filtering of info between Quiz Variants
It also contains a Log In and Sign Up page, as well as a neo brutalist ui design, and sum animation ( animation was limited by time)
How we built it
It was built using figma
Challenges we ran into
Well I never actually used figma up until this event so I had to both learn and build the application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I feel like I built a proper prototype that can be modified into a fully fletched out application, after of course the renaming and grouping of the components, to make sure it comes out as an easy to use code base.
What we learned
Figma and the time complexity of designing and mapping out an application with its UI.
What's next for FC - Mania
I would like to export the figma protype and add functionality to the application. I could not do it during this event unfortunately since to code out the functionality in the time given would cause possibly a very buggy application or a very ugly one, and in either case I would not have wanted to submit a project that I would not use myself.
