Introduction
“Online Pizza Ordering System” is to manage the online ordering system of the pizza restaurant. Online Pizza Ordering is a web-based application that covers all aspects of the management and operations of a pizza restaurant. This website covers features of Order Management, Online booking, Coupon System, Online Transaction Report, Billings, Administrator Management etc. The project supports to the administrator to access the complete application. The customer has two options: either to book a table or order a pizza online. Admin manages booking requests and online orders through a portal. Each customer of the restaurant has a unique booking ID when a table is booked or a unique order ID while placing an online order. By entering the username and password, the administrator can check the booking requests and the online orders received by the restaurant. He/She can also check the customer’s messages to the restaurant from the portal.
Purpose
This document is to describe all the software requirement specification (SRS) for the Kolkata Pizza Hub (KPH). The system aims to help the customers to book a table or order pizzas online. The restaurant has been facing problems due to its paper-based booking system. With the increase in the number of customers visiting, it has become difficult to manage the booking system manually. The purpose of this project is to solve these complications by creating custom-built database software to manage the booking system. For the administrator it makes easy to sort the data so that the restaurant can serve their customers efficiently.
Objectives
The main objective is to develop the software that covers all the aspects of management and operations of the restaurant. It enables restaurant workers to improve operational effectiveness, reduce costs, reduce manual errors, reduce time consumption and enhance delivery quality.
